Probably some of you might remember that last year we worked with a team of graduates from the Autonomous University of Barcelona on a research project consisting of a new method of collecting individual information to build and maintain a specific cultural heritage. The method was used to build the LGBTI story of Sitges. A good number of GSL members offered to be interviewed for this project.
Next Friday November 10th at 18:00h at the Auditorio Edificio Miramar (Carrer de la Davallada, 12) will take place the Territorial Etnology and Research Meeting which will present the investigation carried out on the LGBTI community of Sitges
This event, organized by the Institut d’Estudis Penedesencs (IEP), Gay Sitges Link and the Lakatos Research Project in Antropology (PILA), will show the results of the research carried out in Sitges in relation to the male gay community and wants to be a way to thank the people who made it possible. Special attention goes to the GSL members who without their support the project wouldn’t have been possible.
This is why your presence is important, not only to acknowledge the central role but as a verification tool, since the PILA team firmly believe that the knowledge generated from the community must always be analyzed by themselves to avoid mis-interpretation.
¡We count on your presence!
